Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dance of the Daffodils by Dr. Dain L. Tasker was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,948.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dr. Dain L. Tasker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dance of the Daffodils von Dr. Dain L. Tasker kam im Oktober 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 4.948,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Dain L. Tasker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.473,70).
