Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dr. Dain L. Tasker could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in July 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Legends, Landscapes, and Lovelies | Photographs auction, the work 'Canterbury Bells From Betty'S Garden' changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,335.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dr. Dain L. Tasker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70).
