Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Philodendron' by Dr. Dain L. Tasker was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,777.48). Admittedly, works by Dr. Dain L. Tasker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Philodendron' von Dr. Dain L. Tasker kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.777,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Dain L. Tasker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.473,70).
