Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Red landscape by Donald Hamilton Fraser for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,723.30). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Hamilton Fraser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape, Sea And Wind in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Red landscape von Donald Hamilton Fraser für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.723,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78).
