The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,816.00 (€ 3,285.42), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Donald Hamilton Fraser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape, Sea And Wind in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).

Die Arbeit Flowers in Front of Painting von Donald Hamilton Fraser wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.816,00 (€ 3.285,42) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78).
