Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Study - Quillan, Pyrenees by Donald Hamilton Fraser was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,642.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Hamilton Fraser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape, Sea And Wind in November 2020 with an auction result of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).

Die Arbeit Study - Quillan, Pyrenees von Donald Hamilton Fraser wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.642,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Hamilton Fraser erzielen.
