This artwork by Donald Hamilton Fraser achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in December 2020. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Beach Seascape sold for GBP 13,375.00 (€ 14,941.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Donald Hamilton Fraser; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape, Sea And Wind sold at auction in November 2020 with the realized price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,098.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Donald Hamilton Fraser erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Beach Seascape für GBP 13.375,00 (€ 14.941,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Donald Hamilton Fraser; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape, Sea And Wind im November 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.098,78).
