The work Red Sundae (Well Fancy That) by Donald Baechler was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October this year. The price achieved of USD 2,540.00 (€ 2,403.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Baechler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Conversazione in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 171,382.56).
