Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,659.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Don McCullin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shell-shocked US Marine, The Battle of Hue in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,298.50).
