It achieved a price of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,834.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Don McCullin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shell-shocked US Marine, The Battle of Hue, which sold at auction in May 2019 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,298.50).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.834,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Für andere Arbeiten von Don McCullin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shell-shocked US Marine, The Battle of Hue beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.298,50) versteigert wurde.
