Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work White lily by Insho Domoto for USD 1,195.00 (€ 1,209.64). This price was achieved in the auction Japanese and Korean Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Insho Domoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chikaku ("Perception") in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,306.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit White lily von Insho Domoto für USD 1.195,00 (€ 1.209,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Insho Domoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chikaku ("Perception") im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 13.306,00).
