Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Keigyoshi (Fisherman at a mountain stream) by Insho Domoto for USD 1,880.00 (€ 2,090.51). This price was achieved in the auction JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Insho Domoto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chikaku ("Perception") in September 2002 with an auction result of USD 13,145.00 (€ 13,306.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Keigyoshi (Fisherman at a mountain stream) von Insho Domoto für USD 1.880,00 (€ 2.090,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Insho Domoto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chikaku ("Perception") im September 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 13.306,00).
