This work without title by Domoto Hisao was sold in the ASOBI: Japanese and Korean Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,392.50), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domoto Hisao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting 1960-14 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,875,000.00 (€ 219,049.99).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Domoto Hisao wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion ASOBI: Japanese and Korean Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.392,50) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domoto Hisao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting 1960-14 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.875.000,00 (€ 219.049,99).
