The work La Tranche by Domenico Gnoli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,455,000.00 (€ 2,910,678.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Gnoli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black Hair, which sold at auction in February 2014 for GBP 7,026,500.00 (€ 8,524,835.22).

Die Arbeit La Tranche von Domenico Gnoli kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.455.000,00 (€ 2.910.678,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Domenico Gnoli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black Hair beobachtet, die im Februar 2014 für GBP 7.026.500,00 (€ 8.524.835,22) versteigert wurde.
