Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Domenico Cantatore could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Bambina seduta changed hands for EUR 1,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Cantatore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Natura morta in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 24,185.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Domenico Cantatore konnte im Juni 2018 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Bambina seduta für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Cantatore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 24.185,25).
