Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Domenico Cantatore achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2015. In the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction, the work Ragazza in rosso sold for EUR 3,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Domenico Cantatore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura morta in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 24,185.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Domenico Cantatore erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea wurde die Arbeit Ragazza in rosso für EUR 3.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Cantatore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 24.185,25).
