This artwork by Domenico Cantatore achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in June 2014. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Donna seduta sold for EUR 3,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Domenico Cantatore have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Natura morta in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 24,185.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Domenico Cantatore erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Donna seduta für EUR 3.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Cantatore auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Natura morta im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 24.185,25).
