Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "5 P.M SP.MR". by Diti Almog was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,000.00 (€ 549.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Diti Almog - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kohinoor Bay, which sold at auction in May 2005 for USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,137.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "5 P.M SP.MR". von Diti Almog im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.000,00 (€ 549,02) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Diti Almog mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kohinoor Bay beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.137,82) versteigert wurde.
