Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Diti Almog could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Joy, Love and Peace: The Peter B. Lewis Collection auction, the work Ngaar changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 232.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Diti Almog have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kohinoor Bay in May 2005 with an auction result of USD 2,640.00 (€ 2,137.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Diti Almog konnte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Joy, Love and Peace: The Peter B. Lewis Collection wechselte die Arbeit Ngaar für USD 250,00 (€ 232,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Diti Almog auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kohinoor Bay im Mai 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.640,00 (€ 2.137,82).
