This artwork by Ding Yi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Appearance Of Crosses Series: 98-B13(Painted In 1998) sold for HKD 259,600.00 (€ 29,231.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,517,338.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ding Yi erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Appearance Of Crosses Series: 98-B13(Painted In 1998) für HKD 259.600,00 (€ 29.231,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.460.000,00 (€ 1.517.338,91).
