Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Appearance of Crosses 99-B16 & Appearance of Crosses 99-B26 by Ding Yi was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 53,803.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 380,000.00 – 480,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Yi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 17,460,000.00 (€ 1,517,338.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Appearance of Crosses 99-B16 & Appearance of Crosses 99-B26 von Ding Yi wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 53.803,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 380.000,00 – 480.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Yi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Appearance Of Crosses 90-6 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.460.000,00 (€ 1.517.338,91).
