The work Sunset(Painted In 1986) by Ding Fang was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 37,760.00 (€ 4,251.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boat Tracker in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,419,000.00 (€ 272,536.58).

Die Arbeit Sunset(Painted In 1986) von Ding Fang wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.760,00 (€ 4.251,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boat Tracker im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.419.000,00 (€ 272.536,58).
