A top price for Ding Fang - as previously expected
The work Boat Tracker by Ding Fang was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,419,000.00 (€ 272,536.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,600,000.00 – 2,600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Boat Tracker is the most expensive artwork by Ding Fang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Boat Tracker von Ding Fang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.419.000,00 (€ 272.536,58) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.600.000,00 – 2.600.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Boat Tracker das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ding Fang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
