Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Shanghai held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work On the Path Towards Faith: Resurrection by Ding Fang. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 1,320,000.00 (€ 177,733.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ding Fang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Boat Tracker was auctioned for HKD 2,419,000.00 (€ 272,536.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Path Towards Faith: Resurrection von Ding Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 1.320.000,00 (€ 177.733,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Ding Fang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Boat Tracker für HKD 2.419.000,00 (€ 272.536,58) versteigert.
