The work Spirit of Sword by Ding Fang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 271,500.00 (€ 23,734.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boat Tracker in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,419,000.00 (€ 272,536.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spirit of Sword von Ding Fang kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 271.500,00 (€ 23.734,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boat Tracker im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.419.000,00 (€ 272.536,58).
