Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work City Series No.3(Painted In 1987-1990) by Ding Fang. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 73,160.00 (€ 7,719.55). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ding Fang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boat Tracker in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,419,000.00 (€ 272,536.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Series No.3(Painted In 1987-1990) von Ding Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 73.160,00 (€ 7.719,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ding Fang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boat Tracker im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.419.000,00 (€ 272.536,58).
