It achieved a price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 41,962.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Dexter Dalwood have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Brian Jones' Swimming Pool in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 144,000.00 (€ 213,474.83).

Die Arbeit A View from a Window von Dexter Dalwood kam im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 41.962,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dexter Dalwood auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Brian Jones' Swimming Pool im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 144.000,00 (€ 213.474,83).
