Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work 12/14/13 by Despina Stokou. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,471.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Despina Stokou have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Cpa89825.06.2014Hkg-Klax (1_11) was auctioned for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,725.47).

Im Mai 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 12/14/13 von Despina Stokou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.471,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Despina Stokou konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit Cpa89825.06.2014Hkg-Klax (1_11) für USD 18.750,00 (€ 17.725,47) versteigert.
