Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,962.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Despina Stokou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cpa89825.06.2014Hkg-Klax (1_11), which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 17,725.47).

Die Arbeit Google Search Collage II (terms: Madonna-Whore Split, Freud, Luise Grim, Tracey Emin) von Despina Stokou kam im Mai 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion.
