Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Audrey Hepburn while filming "Sabrina" by Dennis Stock was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in New York in April 2010. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,698.54). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Stock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'A Memorial Portfolio: James Dean', which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,712.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn while filming "Sabrina" von Dennis Stock wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.698,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Dennis Stock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'A Memorial Portfolio: James Dean' beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.712,37) versteigert wurde.
