This artwork by Dennis Stock achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2015. In the Photographs auction, the work Audrey Hepburn during the filming of 'Sabrina' by Billy Wilder sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,320.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dennis Stock; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'A Memorial Portfolio: James Dean' sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,712.37).
