Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Louis Armstrong by Dennis Stock for USD 384.00 (€ 348.46). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Now The Collector's Edition at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Stock achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'A Memorial Portfolio: James Dean' in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,712.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Louis Armstrong von Dennis Stock für USD 384,00 (€ 348,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dennis Stock erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'A Memorial Portfolio: James Dean' im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 14.712,37).
