In September 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Folding the Red into the Black by Deborah Roberts. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,972.01), 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deborah Roberts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Do Solemnly Swear (Nessun Dorma series) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 243,643.13).

Im September 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Folding the Red into the Black von Deborah Roberts zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.972,01) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deborah Roberts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Do Solemnly Swear (Nessun Dorma series) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 243.643,13).
