Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The History Of Everything, Part Three by Deborah Roberts was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 76,685.39). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Deborah Roberts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work I Do Solemnly Swear (Nessun Dorma series), which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 275,000.00 (€ 243,643.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The History Of Everything, Part Three von Deborah Roberts wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 76.685,39) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Deborah Roberts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit I Do Solemnly Swear (Nessun Dorma series) beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 275.000,00 (€ 243.643,13) versteigert wurde.
