A top price for Dawn Mellor - as previously expected
The work 4Am & Loaded by Dawn Mellor was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2007. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,616.39) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 4Am & Loaded is the most expensive artwork by Dawn Mellor that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit 4Am & Loaded von Dawn Mellor wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.616,39) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 4Am & Loaded das teuerste Kunstwerk von Dawn Mellor, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
