Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection, which included the work Julia Roberts. by Dawn Mellor. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,677.00. Admittedly, works by Dawn Mellor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 4Am & Loaded in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,616.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Julia Roberts. von Dawn Mellor zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.677,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dawn Mellor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 4Am & Loaded im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.616,39).
