The work Marion by Davis Cone was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2005. It achieved a price of USD 45,600.00 (€ 35,160.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. Admittedly, works by Davis Cone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Radio City in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 206,250.00 (€ 195,275.52).

Die Arbeit Marion von Davis Cone kam im März 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 35.160,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Davis Cone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Radio City im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.250,00 (€ 195.275,52).
