Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included this untitled work by David Novros. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,994.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Novros have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barranca I in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 118,348.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Novros zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.994,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Novros auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barranca I im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 118.348,80).
