Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled; Grotto by David Noonan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,316.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Noonan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 55,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled; Grotto von David Noonan kam im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.316,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Noonan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 55.000,00.
