Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by David Noonan was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,799.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Noonan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 55,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Noonan kam im Dezember 2016 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.799,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Noonan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 55.000,00.
