In December 2020 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by David Noonan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,630.13), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Noonan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 55,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Noonan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.630,13) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Noonan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 55.000,00.
