Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Selected Images from The Wild West by David Levinthal was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,236.91). Admittedly, works by David Levinthal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Barbie Millicent Roberts' in October 2009 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 38,122.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Selected Images from The Wild West von David Levinthal wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.236,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Levinthal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Barbie Millicent Roberts' im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 38.122,67).
