Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Untitled from the series Wild West by David Levinthal. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,342.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Levinthal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Barbie Millicent Roberts' in October 2009 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 38,122.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled from the series Wild West von David Levinthal zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.342,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Levinthal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Barbie Millicent Roberts' im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 38.122,67).
