A top price for David Keeling - as previously expected
The work End of The Road, 2002 by David Keeling was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sidney in May last year. It changed hands for a price of AUD 17,220.00 (€ 16,046.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, End of The Road, 2002 is the most expensive artwork by David Keeling that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit End of The Road, 2002 von David Keeling wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 17.220,00 (€ 16.046,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 14.000,00 – 18.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist End of The Road, 2002 das teuerste Kunstwerk von David Keeling, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
