This artwork by David Keeling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Sydney in August 2001. In the CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work Square Sign sold for AUD 3,525.00 (€ 2,046.36) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Keeling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work End of The Road, 2002 in May last year with an auction result of AUD 17,220.00 (€ 16,046.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Keeling erzielte im August 2001 bei Christies in Sydney einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit Square Sign für AUD 3.525,00 (€ 2.046,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Keeling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit End of The Road, 2002 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 17.220,00 (€ 16.046,97).
