Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2001 Christies in Sydney held the auction CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Untitled (Diptych) by David Keeling. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 3,290.00 (€ 1,909.94). Admittedly, works by David Keeling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work End of The Road, 2002 in May last year with an auction result of AUD 17,220.00 (€ 16,046.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2001 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Diptych) von David Keeling zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 3.290,00 (€ 1.909,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Keeling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit End of The Road, 2002 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 17.220,00 (€ 16.046,97).
