Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Three Italies by David Keeling was sold in the CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in Sydney in August 2001. The price achieved of AUD 6,462.50 (€ 3,751.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Keeling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work End of The Road, 2002 in May last year with an auction result of AUD 17,220.00 (€ 16,046.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Three Italies von David Keeling wurde im August 2001 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 6.462,50 (€ 3.751,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Keeling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit End of The Road, 2002 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 17.220,00 (€ 16.046,97).
