Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Silver could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Untitled 47 changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,195.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Silver have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 10,875.00 (€ 13,053.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Silver konnte im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Untitled 47 für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.195,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Silver auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.875,00 (€ 13.053,55).
