Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A mother and child by Daniel Gardner was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2010. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,520.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Gardner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Mary Whitbread, Later Lady Grey (1770-1858) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 233,000.00 (€ 330,315.74).

Die Arbeit A mother and child von Daniel Gardner kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.520,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Gardner erzielen.
