Admittedly, works by Daniel Gardner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Mary Whitbread, Later Lady Grey (1770-1858) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 233,000.00 (€ 330,315.74).
